Vision:
With a holistic point of view to our body’s structure, function and adaptability, Mohsen believes in the self-healing and self-regulating power of the human body. “I think when our body cannot adjust itself to above-threshold musculoskeletal demands, it becomes “derailed”, and what I have to do is bring it back in to its natural healthy “rail” through osteopathic manual readjustment and soft tissue regulatory techniques and let the bodies natural healing take care of the remainder. In this journey, I believe in a teamwork principle and using other profession’s capacities to help the body’s self-healing power.”
Education:
Due to Mohsen’s enthusiastic willingness to relieve people’s pain and discomfort, he decided to study Physiotherapy in Shiraz, Iran. After graduating with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy his history and interest in various sports such as Karate, football, wrestling and body-building drove him to achieve a Master of Sport Physiotherapy course (MSc) with focus on manual therapy. While working in different positions as a Sport and Orthopedic physiotherapist, he succeeded to pass his Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT). After seven years of experience in rehabilitation and treatment of various Sport, Chronic Pain and Orthopedic conditions he found the missing piece of his practice puzzle; Manual Osteopathy.
He deep heartedly believes that Osteopathic manual therapy is potentially capable to play one of the most important roles in both our general health and specific musculoskeletal issues.
Professional Experiences and Achievements:
Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (ROMP / RMO) in Limelight Wellness Clinic in Vancouver, B.C.
Chief Physiotherapist in Baran Manual Osteopathy and Physiotherapy Institute, Dr Farahmandfar and Besat Hospitals, and Fars Sport Medicine Association.
Cooperated with the first academic manual therapy clinic in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.
Leisure time activities:
In his free time he enjoys time with his family, walking, cycling, camping, playing football, volleyball, and other group entertainment and exciting activities.
Practice Focus:
Mohsen enjoys working with highly challenging musculoskeletal and chronic pain problems; this part of his personality is always encouraging him to stay up-to-date on the latest theoretical and practical knowledge and studying new therapeutic techniques and applying them to his clients.
Vision:
With a holistic point of view to our body’s structure, function and adaptability, Mohsen ...

She applied her skills by working for many years in Recreation and Rehabilitation avenues before going back to school to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy from UBC in 2018.
Originally from South Africa, Kira grew up in North Vancouver as an avid athlete, and her experience recovering from numerous sports injuries spurred her interest in the rehabilitative sciences. Her personal connection to sports, led to many coaching and educational opportunities early on. Her athletic career combined with personal experiences as she witnessed those close to her struggle in their own health journeys propelled her interest in Physiology and Exercise Sciences.
Kira has special interest in movement-based rehabilitation, believing that Physiotherapy plays a major role in supporting individuals to experience movement in a positive way and to tailor movement and body loading principals to help you reach your goals. As a student at UBC, her passions lay in implementing exercise rehabilitation programs and seminars for UBC employees with a focus on functional strength and posture and back care. These student-lead initiatives focused on educating UBC workers on rehabilitative and preventative strategies in the work-place. She was an enthusiastic student member of the “Changing Aging” gym at UBC and was involved in programs at the gym as well as numerous research studies involving exercise-based interventions for Seniors. Kira was part of the student-body team that volunteered to provide Health-based initiatives to the UBC student-body. As well, she was a Thunderbird, representing UBC in Field Hockey as a Varsity Athlete, and is proud to have a National Title under her belt! Jessica has been practicing massage therapy since 2008, graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. She has worked in multi-disciplinary clinics, alongside health care professionals of all kinds, as well as some seasonal work in a remote heli-ski lodge. Her goal has always been to facilitate the body back to a harmonious state and help people live their best lives. She completed her yoga teacher training in 2014, which further enhanced her understanding of healing movement and body awareness. A proponent of breath work, hydrotherapy, and stress reduction, she enjoys educating her patients on the importance of self-care to empower people to take charge of their own health. She finds her own state of harmony and balance through her love of dance, meditation, and spending time in nature. On her off time she enjoys travelling, van camping, reading, arts and crafts, cooking nutritious meals, and exploring the outdoors with her partner and dog. She continues to grow and learn as a practitioner through continuing education and self study, bringing in new techniques to give her patients the optimal care that they deserve.
